Virginia Campbell

Mrs. Virginia Lee Monroe Campbell , 79, of Brunswick, died Sunday, July 30, 2017, at her home. She was the wife of the late Patrick Eugene Campbell, Sr., who died March 5, 2002.
Born May 28, 1938, in Frederick, she was a daughter of the late Agnes Louise Monroe  and Taneyhill James Monroe of Brunswick.

She worked over 19 year as an aircraft parts manufacturer for Fairchild Industries in Germantown, Maryland.

She was a servant of the Lord and spent countless hours giving back to her community.  She enjoyed visiting the sick and delivering food baskets to those in need.

Virginia was an active member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church, where she served on the deaconess board.

To her family and friends, Virginia Campbell was affectionately known as Sister Love,  Jenny  or Nancy.

She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Jacobsen of Walkersville; Sharon Campbell and husband, Gene, of Hinesville, GA; and Robin Frederick and husband, Gary, of West Virginia; one son, Patrick E. Campbell Jr. and wife D'nita of Adelphi, MD; one sister, Margaret  James, of Brooklyn, NY; eight grandchildren, Chelaya Campbell, Jonathan Campbell, Patrick Campbell III,  Nadja Campbell,  Arthur Williams, Megan Williams, Robin Campbell and Luke Campbell; nine great-grandchildren, Chanelle, Patrick IV, Anthony , Lena, Preston, Carter, Gabriel, Joakim, and Natalie; devoted sister-in-law, Betty Campbell; special nieces, Glenda Morris and her husband, William, and Joyce Ann Mapp; and numerous additional nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 4 from Jackson Chapel United Methodist Church, 5609 Ballenger Creek Pike, Frederick, with visitation at the church from 10-11. The Rev. Aron Moye will officiate.
Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick. The repast will be held at Faith Baptist Church in Petersville.
