Virginia Brittingham

Virginia I. Brittingham, 82 of Frederick, MD died Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Virginia was born August 22, 1934 in Dover, Delaware to the late Ralph S. and Ruth Emily (Jester) Obier; she is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Robert L. Brittingham; mother of Carol (Brent) Warren and Charles (Sharon) Brittingham; and sister of Sandra Dixon. She is also survived by many dear friends and church parishioners.
Virginia was a member of both New Life Foursquare Church and their bible study group "Aglow". She also worked many years as a registered nurse at Holy Cross Hospital and Prince George's Medical Center.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at New Life Foursquare Church, 5913 Jefferson Pike, Frederick, MD on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 10-11 am with memorial service at 11 am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
