Vincent (Vinny) Anthony Ezzo, Jr. - a loving husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather, and loyal friend - passed away unexpectedly at his residence on September 1, 2023. Born on June 23, 1962, in Connecticut, Vinny led a life filled with passion and dedication.

Throughout his career of over 25 years as a truck driver for RLO Contractors, Inc., Vinny's commitment to his work was unwavering. He embraced each day behind the wheel with dedication and professionalism.

However, Vinny's true calling lay in serving others through his volunteer work. He started his remarkable journey in Connecticut as a firefighter before relocating to Frederick County, where he continued selflessly serving as a firefighter for a total of an astounding 35 years. Vinny had an unwavering courage that inspired those around him, and he always went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the safety of others.

While Vinny's dedication to his career and volunteer service was impressive, it was the love he poured into his family that truly defined him. Though he could be stubborn at times, it stemmed from a place of deep conviction and determination to stand up for what he believed in. It was this resilience that allowed Vinny to overcome obstacles throughout his life.

Outside of work and service, Vinny found immense joy in his hobbies and interests. He had a passion for heavy equipment and took delight in operating his beloved Bobcat. Furthermore, he had a knack for fixing things, showcasing his mechanical prowess to the fullest extent. Vinny's curiosity and ability to mend anything that came before him were truly remarkable.

Vinny accomplished many things throughout his life, but he took the most pride in his family. His 31 years of marriage to Deborah Ezzo was filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Together, they built a foundation of love and respect that stood the test of time.

Vinny's adoration extended to his son Vincent Anthony Ezzo III and daughter-in-law Kaitlyn Ezzo. Their relationship was built on a strong bond of mutual respect and admiration. Vincent Anthony Ezzo III brought immense joy into Vinny's life as they shared treasured moments together.

The arrival of grandson Jackson further deepened Vinny's heartwarming connection to his family. As a loving grandfather, he embraced every opportunity to shower Jackson with affection, wisdom, and guidance.

In addition to his immediate family, Vinny cherished the friendship of Mark Barrick, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Their unwavering camaraderie was a testament to the depth of their bond for which Vinny was eternally grateful.
