Vincent Marcelino

Vincent “Vince“ Anthony Marcelino was a caring husband, father, grandfather and friend. He left this world on Saturday evening, October 2, 2021 at age 94.

He was born on March 27,1927 in New York. He was the son of Vincent Anthony Marcelino and Florence Elizabeth Seymour. After high school he joined the Army and served in Europe during WWII.  He married Carolyn Anna Zerbe in 1949. Together they raised 3 children in Rockville, MD, Thomas A. Marcelino, Kenneth A. Marcelino, Christine A. Marcelino-Gallo. He last worked at Vitro in Aspen Hill, MD as an accountant until he retired. Vince was an avid softball player, bowler and golfer.

He loved his family and friends and dedicated his life to raising his family

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Carolyn and sons Thomas and Kenneth.

Vince is survived by his daughter Christine Marcelino-Gallo, her husband Phillip Gallo, daughters-in-law Cheryl Marcelino and Tracy Marcelino; grandchildren Valerie Lengfelder, Kirk Marcelino, Thayne Amanda Wenden, Michelle Marcelino, Melanie Marcelino, Wesley Redmond, Clifton Redmond, Asa Gallo, Julia (Gallo) Carter, Joshua Marcelino, and Jessica Marcelino. He has 11 great grandchildren and one on the way. He is also survived by his long time companion of 19 years, Gloria Hunter.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 9. 2021 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD.

Funeral service will take place following the visitation, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday 9, October, 2021 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD
