Vincent Jones

Vincent Martin Jones, 29, of Frederick, MD passed away Monday, July 31, 2017. He was the husband of Katelyn Vaughan.
Born August 20, 1987 in Seoul, South Korea he was the son of Lawrence Alan and Kathleen (Motley) Jones.
Vincent was a 2005 graduate of Watkins Mill High School. He was a Correctional Officer for Frederick County from 2011-2016. In 2016, he transferred from the Detention Center to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy Sheriff. He received several awards for saving lives and was recognized as an exceptional officer. He was an Eagle Scout who loved fishing, golf and spending time with his family. He was a proud family man who adored his children. He was also an avid Redskins fan and proud Maryland Resident.
In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by his children Roman (7), Hadrian (4) and Balian (2). He is also survived by his older brother Kevin and sister Kimberly.
The family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Monday, August 7th from 1:00-2:00 pm where a memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Thomas Weinandy officiating.
