Mrs. Victorine "Vicky" Marie Bollinger, 91, of Thurmont, MD., passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014. She was the wife of the late Elmer W. Bollinger.
Born December 17, 1922 in Fairfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Kea Eyler Ridenour.
In earlier years she was a seamstress at Claire Frock and also worked at the Rubber Factory and Bollinger's Restaurant. Vicky was a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed quilting, cross-stitch and embroidery. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog "Fancy".
She is survived by her children John R. Barrett (Grace), Nancy B, Coulter (Garry), Elmer W. Bollinger, Jr. (Donna), Larry J. Bollinger, Victorine L. O'Donoghue, Shirley A. Johnson (Dwayne)and Pammy L. Delauter (Irvin), twelve grandchildren and one special granddaughter Tatyana Delauter, eight great grandchildren, a sister Betty Draper and a brother Roland Ridenour. She will also be remembered by her niece Donna Sweeney, Eric Boyce, Sr. and Jeri Bowers. She was preceded in death by two sons Jacob Bollinger and Wayne E. Bollinger, a sister Edith Wolfe and two brothers Ray and Edward Ridenour.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont Saturday April 12, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where services will be held Monday, April 14, at 11:00 am with Rev. Warren Rice officiating.
Interment Blue Ridge Cemetery.
