Victoria Gruodis

Mrs. Victoria Gruodis, 101, of Mt. Airy died on Thursday June 18, 2009 at her home. She was the wife of the late Joseph Gruodis.
Born on July 1, 1908 in Russia she was the daughter of the late Mykolas Kazickas and Katarina Sereicikas.
Surviving are three sons Romualdas Gruodis and wife A. Ruth of Mt. Airy, Algirdas Gruodis and wife Violeta of Wappingers Falls, NY and Victor Gruodis and wife Ausra of Lithuania. Brother Dr. Joseph Kazickas and wife Alexandra. Grandchildren Joseph, Loretta, Ruth, Kristina, Debra, Viki, Peter, Catherine and Michael. 16 Great Grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Gruodis was preceded in death by a daughter in law Carol Gruodis.
Visitation: Friends may call on Sunday June 21, from 2-4 & 7-9pm at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 9201-A Church Street, Libertytown, MD.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will offered on Monday June 22, at 11:00am. Msgr. John A. Dietzenbach will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made to the St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Libertytown.
