Vickie Juanita Atanasov

Vickie Juanita Atanasov, 65 of Middletown, MD has went home to be with the Lord on August, 15th 2024. Born on June 12th 1959 in Tazwell, VA to Cloa Childress and Raleigh Brown. She was the committed wife of the late Stephan Wasyl Atanasov. She was the loving mother of daughter Rachael Clark and late husband Chris Clark, son Wasyl Atanasov and wife Erica Atanasov, and daughter Michelle Geiger. She was the honored Grandmother of Dalton Geiger, Laci Geiger, Christoper Clark, Kaitlyn Clark and Wasyl Atanasov Jr. 

Vickie is survived by her brother David Brown and wife Judy, nephew Eddie Sheets, wife Linda and son Cody, sister in law Julie Maloney and husband Jim, along with many other family and friends. 

Vickie was a graduate of Damascus High School in 1976. Once the President of Welcome Wagon in Frederick, MD. She loved to read all kinds of books. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and taking care of her home. She was an avid movie critic and enjoyed horror and western genres. In addition, she loved music, especially 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. She was very generous, loving, giving, kind, caring, gentle, funny, understanding and protective. Accepted people for who they truly are, connected with everyone around her, loved to laugh which was contagious and was loyal to the ones she knew. 

Funeral services which will be held on Friday, August 23rd at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick MD 21702 from 12:00–2:00pm. Graveside services and burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
