She grew up in Mt. Airy MD and attended Linganore High School class of 1981. She had a daughter on November 17 1982. She was a loving mother who took her job as a mother very seriously and loved Teaching her about Honor, trust, and loyalty these were the things that she believed in. Lady V, as her friends called her was a loving wife and shared a special friendship and bond with her husband of 14 years although only married a short time they loved and spent time together since 1986. She was a singer, and artist, and sometimes a poet. She was a strong woman who gave strength to the people she helped and guiding them through hardships with her gentle caring way. She loved her family and her country and stood for everything good and righteous. When you needed her she was there, no matter what she would help pick you up when you were down. She loved her animals, especially her horses. They meant the world to her, and she had a way of speaking to them and becoming in tune with their minds. It was truly magical. Three years ago her granddaughter was born, and she was so proud and they had the deepest bond. Devin was the apple of her eye. She will forever be missed. She always said " It is better to have lived one day as a tiger then a thousand years as a sheep" and so she did , living everyday as if it were her last. I am so proud to call her my mother " I love you mom"
