MARTIN - Vernon, M., know to his friends and family as Bo, went to be with the Lord on November 5, 2009. A lifelong resident of Maryland, he was 73.
During the course of 8 years beginning in 1954, Bo was a member of the National Guard Army Corp. of Engineers; 797 Engineers Panel Bridge Army.
Throughout his life, Bo had a love for the outdoors, which was fostered from his childhood days spent on his family's farm. Later in life he dedicated spare time to landscaping his property as well as tending to his garden. He loved a fresh tomato! Bo was best know for greeting other passenger vehicles with the peace sign. How appropriate for a man who lastly declared 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
He is survived by three children; son Mark, daughter Karen, daughter, Cia, as well as four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every-way. The Lord be with you all.
