Verna K. Meyer, age 88 of Frederick, MD, died Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Vindobona Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 10, 1928 in Lewistown, MD to the late Austin and Blanche (Keyser) Klipp. Verna was the beloved wife of the late Roy W. Meyer; mother of Ronald and the late Robert Meyer; mother-in-law of Donna and Deanna Meyer; grandmother of Michelle and her fiancee Stevie Crim, Janelle and Brandon Meyer; sister of the late Margaret Beveridge and Kenneth Klipp; she is also survived by her sister-in-law Barbara Klipp and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, PO Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.
