Valentina Kitts

Valentina (Tina) Kitts, age 75, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 7, 2024, in Frederick, MD, surrounded by her family. She was the loving daughter of the late Santiago and Placida of La Paz, Bolivia.

In her youth, Valentina immigrated to the United States, where she met the late W. Kitts. Together, they had three loving daughters: Michelle Rowe, Jennifer Robertson, and Veronica Kitts. Valentina lived much of her life in Maryland, becoming a longtime resident of Frederick.

She was a loyal employee at Custom Printing of Frederick until their closing. Before retirement, Valentina was employed by Edenton, where she cherished her interactions with the residents. In retirement, she enjoyed a vibrant social life, having lunches with friends, attending services at Victory Baptist Church, and delighting in spoiling her children and grandchildren with love and her delicious cooking.

Valentina was renowned for her kindness, selflessness, and generosity, always placing others before herself. She emulated the love of God through her unconditional love and deep faith and served as an incredible role model for her children, grandchildren, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Stauffer Funeral Home for family and friends on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM, located at 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service for light refreshments and a time to share memories of Valentina.
