Twana will be well remembered as a beautiful, social butterfly that loved her family and friends very much. To know her was to love her, as she always left you the same way she greeted you, with a smile and a hug. one of her favorite things to do was to bake her special cookies and give them to her loved ones. She absolutely loved her life and everyone in it. She enjoyed going to the campground, poker runs and playing tip jars which she was always known to win, she was just lucky like that. She and her husband Albert enjoyed planning parties and reunions at their home with enough food to feed an army. If she wanted you to dance with her you couldn't tell her no, she would have you on your feet laughing and smiling. She loved outdoors and walking, always keeping herself fit by exercising and mowing the lawn. It wasn't uncommon to see Twana get out a bottle of nail polish anywhere and start doing her nails and oh, don’t mess up her hair, those were the two things she didn't leave the house without doing. She loved collecting pocketbooks, pigs, and taking care of her beautiful fish tank.

Twana was so passionate about her work and home that she rarely sat down. Her pride and joy were her daughter, her grandchildren and her newly born great-granddaughter; those were her babies she would say and made sure everyone knew that. She enjoyed the holidays with her family, giving them presents and was so excited to see their faces when they opened them.

Twana attended Boonsboro high school and later received her GED. Early in life she was a homemaker taking care of her family, then worked as a housekeeper before her most well-known job as the best bartender of the Yellow House. She loved her job bartending and worked for the Yellow House for over 25 and a half years. When asked when she would retire her answer was, "I love my job and they need me, but I will stop when I'm ready".

She developed many, many friendships from her job at the Yellow House and was treasured by all her friends. Twana was a one-of-a-kind woman, a sweetheart with a heart of gold. She will be deeply missed by her family and all her friends that knew and loved her.

Twana was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Charles and Reba Nave and maternal grandparents Allen and Hazel Leatherman; brothers Joseph Nave and Bobby Nave; and a nephew Bryan S. Nave.
