Tranice Richardson

Ms. Tranice C. Richardson was suddenly taken by domestic violence Friday, July 8, 2011 in Frederick, Maryland. Tranice was born November 16, 1977 to Mary Ann Powell and Cedric Richardson.

She received her early education in New York, and relocated to Frederick County, attended Frederick High School, and made Frederick her home.

Tranice was known as for her outspoken personality, giving heart, and most importantly, the love she had for her children. Putting herself last, and being a caretaker for others was her gift and she never hesitated in helping anyone. It was important for Tranice to put herself together before leaving her home, even if that meant taking an extra hour to get ready and asking her friends for confirmation. Her inner beauty was just a perfect match and reflection of her outer beauty. To get a party started all you needed to do was invite Tranice. Her true belief was keeping it real and staying true to yourself.

Tranice leaves to mourn the light of her life MaryAnn Powell, mother; Cedric Richardson, father, Renee Richardson, stepmother; to carry on her legacy the four angels, Kwandell Hoy (15), Kaylah Turner (10), Keanan Richardson (8), Mekhai Smith (6), one brother Melvin Brison, one sister, Shamain Brison, a niece, Geanna Thompson, three aunts, Martha Powell, Barbara Jean Daragan, Diella Powell. She also leaves in her memory Barbara Rucker and a special cousin and best friend Tamyka Rucker, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Tranice was preceded in death by a special maternal grandmother Florence Richardson whom she adored.

Visitation will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, on Friday, July 15, 2011, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A celebration of life service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 16, 2011  at 2:00 pm. Interment in Fairview Cemetery.
