Tony Jones, Jr.

Tony Jones, Jr. transitioned from life to eternal life on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD. He was born on February 28, 1991, on Andrews Air Force Base located in Prince George’s County, Maryland, to Tony Jones Sr. and Teresa Higgins.

In his leisure, Tony enjoyed sports, listening to several genres of music, and cooking. He also loved spending time with family, friends and watching his kids play sports. He was an avid fan of LeBron James and the Dallas Cowboys.

He leaves to cherish his many memories: Father, Tony Jones Sr. of Selma Alabama; Mother, Teresa Higgins of Frederick Maryland; Son Kendall Jones, Daughter Kaila Jones, and their mother Katie Estes of Thurmont, Maryland; Sister, LaNitra Higgins and Niece Kai’ryn Grant of Frederick Maryland; Sister, Bianca Taylor of Florida; Grandmother, Thelma Black (Leroy) of Knoxville Tennessee; Along with a host of devoted friends and extended family who endowed unconditional love and support throughout his cherished journey in life.

The family will receive friends from 10AM-12PM and 6-8PM on Sunday, March 13,2022 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Thurmont), 104 East Main Street in Thurmont, MD.

A celebration of Tony's life journey will take place at 11AM on Monday, March 14 at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Blue Ridge Cemetery in  Thurmont, MD.
