Tony Brash, 72, of Mount Airy, Md. (formerly District Heights, Md.), left this earth for an appointment with his Creator on Sunday, June 27, 2010, after a battle with cancer that began in 1981.
Tony was born in Premier West Virgina on October 20, 1937, to his parents, Ralph Brash and Suzie Brash (née. Shook) where they raised him with his surviving brothers Nick, Lewy, Joseph, and Ralph and predeceased brother Aubrey.
Tony served honorably in the US Navy.
Tony worked most of his career at Bell Atlantic Telephone as a switch repairman.
Tony and his surviving wife Rita Brash (née Neuland) were married on May 26th, 1962.
Tony and Rita, long time residents of District Heights, Md, raised their two surviving children Richard Brash, now of Granite, Md and Susan Brash Price, now of Chesapeake, Md.
Tony is also survived by and blessed by his grandchildren Katherine, James, Sarah, Eli, Victoria, Valerie, Elizabeth, and Morgan, and his great grandchildren, Richard, Nolyn, Nathaniel, Lillianna, Preston, Angelina, Hailey, Devon, and Cameron.
Tony enjoyed hunting, camping, and making wine from the grapes he produced in his small backyard vineyard.

The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 am, Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Saint Ignatius of Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 4103 Prices Distillery Rd Ijamsville, MD 21754.

A luncheon will be served directly following the mass in the church's fellowship hall.
