Mr. Timothy “Buck” Jackson Allen, 53 of Frederick Md died suddenly Friday, April 7 at his home. Born May 14, 1963 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Dr. Thomas Jackson Allen, and mother Ruth Logwood Allen.
Mr. Allen attended Frederick High School and attained his General Education Diploma. He was a life-long learner and completed his studies in Commercial Truck Driving. He received his CDL license in 1993 and pursued a career in national trucking for various businesses. His professional interest fueled his passion as a HAM radio enthusiast.
He had a love for sports and was a well-known, proud and unwavering Washington Redskin fan. He will be remembered for his steadfast opinions, authentic way with words and loyal heart. His ability to overcome adversity and build resiliency will always be remembered by all those who were blessed to know “Buck.”
He is survived by his son Jeremy Jackson Allen and granddaughter Nevaeh Allen; his son Thomas Kenneth Allen and wife Laura Jean Allen and granddaughters Madalynn Noelle Allen and Anabelle Christine Allen; sister Catherine Allen Gordon and husband Glenn Daniel Gordon of Frederick; Nephew Gregory Daniel Gordon and wife Kristi Lynn Gordon; great nephew Graiden Daniel Gordon and great niece Harper Grace Gordon; and Niece Emily Gene Gordon; Special Friends Hilda Spurrier Gordon, Cheryl Lynn Gordon, Stanley Michael Kaweesi-Katongole, Louise Talley, John Talley and Judy Trentini.
The family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Wednesday, April 12 from 6 - 8 p.m. Grave side services will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 13 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Guests are asked to meet at the FSK chapel at the cemetery by 10:50 a.m. to follow in procession to the gravesite for services. To honor Mr. Allen as a sport enthusiast, please wear Redskins or Football attire to the visitation and services.
