Mr. Timothy Wayne Thompson 56, of Frederick, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016.
Born on March 28, 1959, in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of Clyde Eugene and Mabel Bernice Steelman Thompson of Falling Waters, WV. He attended Linganore High School. Tim was a self employed master carpenter specializing in hardwood floors. His proudest moment was starting his own company Tim Thompson Hardwood Floors. He love attending NASCAR races especially the Daytona 500. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and four wheeling in West Virginia. He loved his dogs: Minnie, Blackey and Hector.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a son, Daniel Thompson and wife Paula of Knoxville, and daughter, Lindsey Thompson of Frederick; grandsons Andrew and Theodore Thompson; brothers: Chuck Thompson and wife Monica, Mike Thompson and wife Susan; sisters: Pam Emswiler and husband Donald, Teresa Barnes and husband Paul and Tami Hetrick and husband Dave; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM on Friday, February 26, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy where services will begin at 1:00 PM.
Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery, Kemptown.
