Timothy Alan Hicks

Timothy Alan Hicks, 61, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on December 20, 2024, surrounded by his loving son and daughter. Born on December 5, 1963, in Waldorf, Maryland, Timothy was the son of the late Harold Dean Hicks and Shirley Ann (Hodges) Hicks. He was the devoted father of Jeffrey Dean Hicks and Samantha Blaik Hicks, and the proud grandfather of Aleric Dean Gonzalez, who brought endless joy to his life. 

For over 20 years, Timothy served as the Director of IT System Architecture at Music & Arts, where his leadership and vision were instrumental in the company’s growth and success. Beyond his career, he cherished life’s simple pleasures-playing with his grandson, enjoying football and TV, hitting the golf course, and testing his luck at the casino. 

Timothy will be remembered as a selfless and loving father who always put his family first. Known for his determination and independence, he took pride in doing things his own way, always with love and care. His legacy of kindness, strength, and devotion will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. 

A funeral service to celebrate Timothy’s life will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, located at 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11.
