Timothy Lewis Fast

Timothy Lewis Fast, 63, of Frederick, MD died August 20, 2023 after a courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. 
Born in Tucson, AZ on October 12, 1959, Tim is preceded in death by his son Matthew Ryan Fast and his parents Jackie Lewis Fast and Kathryn Lavonne Fast of Joplin, MO. 

Tim worked for various companies over the years and was looking forward to retiring from Stulz Air Technology where he worked the past 17 years. 

His greatest joy was his family, and he will be forever loved for putting a smile on the faces of everyone around him. Tim’s world revolved around his sons, grandson, wife of 40 years, and his whole family.

Wearing his signature brown t-shirt, he would most likely be found with his beloved dog Jazzy, piddling around the house, working on his truck, or being the world's best Pappy. Tim was a life member of the Amvets Post #7 of Thurmont and volunteer member of the post Honor Guard. 

Tim is survived by his wife and best friend Sheryl; son Randy of Frederick; daughter-in-law Jessica and grandson Matthew of Sykesville; brother Gregory (Donna) of Tulsa, OK; and many loving nieces and nephews from New York, Maryland, Kansas, and California. 

Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00 p.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 24 at 10:00 am at the Evangelical Lutheran Church, 31 E. Church Street in Frederick, followed by internment at Mount Olivet Cemetery. All are invited to celebrate Tim immediately following the services at Trunk Hall at the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
