Timothy Jacob Burdette, lovingly known as TJ, of Mt. Airy died on Sunday February 23, 2014.
Born on September 25, 1995 in Olney, he was the beloved son of Timothy Edward and Patricia Ann Browning Burdette.
He was a 2012 Graduate of Linganore High, and was passionate about his job at Digging and Rigging as an Oiler and Rigger.
Surviving in addition to his parents is his sister Lindsay Burdette of Mt. Airy. Maternal Grandmother Jane Browning of Mt. Airy. Paternal Grandparents Jack and Barbara Burdette of Damascus. Great Grandmother Ethel Anderson. Aunts and Uncles; Mary Christiansen and husband Bob, Debbie Phelps and husband Don, Jean Long and husband Brian, Bert Magin, Dianne Eilers and husband Bob, Jackie Strunk and Dale Burdette. He will be lovingly remembered by his girlfriend Tori Kaminski and his Mom’s boyfriend, Jay Caniford. Also surviving are numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Eddie “Pop” Browning, Aunt Brenda Magin and Uncle Steve Strunk.
He enjoyed treating himself to so many outdoor activities, such as splitting wood, fishing, hunting, working on his Ford truck and Jeep, etc. He also enjoyed his time with his dogs Rocky, Dogger B, and Indy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday March 2, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy, where Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday March 2, 2014 in the funeral home. Jeremiah Hilton will officiate. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions in TJ’s name can make them at Damascus Community Bank through the TJ Burdette Memorial Fund.
