Thurman Tyler

Thurman A. Tyler a.k.a Junior 59, of Westminster, Md departed this life on July 30, 2013. He was born on June 10, 1954 in Mt. Airy, Md. He was the son of the late Thurman R. Tyler and Florabelle E. Snowden Tyler. He attended and graduated from Glenelg High School in 1971. He is survived by stepmother Minnie Turner Tyler, Mt. Airy. Sisters Marie Tyler Dorsey, Westminster, Patricia Tyler Diggs, Silver Spring and Brenda Osuejbo, Riverside, California. Brothers Tracy (Toni) Tyler, Mt. Airy, John Dorsey, Silver Spring and foster brother Tyrone Snowden, Frederick and stepbrother Thomas Turner, Sacramento, California. Stepsisters Dana, Kim, Shelly and Renee Turner. He also leaves a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins as well as 3 devoted friends Thomas Smith, Tony Magruder and David Bowman and a number of other friends. Family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd. Mt. Airy, Md 21771. Burial will be private Bishop Ross Jackson will officiate.
