Thomas Randall Smith

Mr. Thomas Randall Smith, 48, of Frederick, died on Wednesdy, June 10th, 2009 at Georgetown University Hospital.

Born on April 14th, 1961 in Frederick, he was a son of the late Vernon J. Smith, Jr. And Martha ( Aylor ) Smith.

Mr. Smith was employed as a superintendent for Platinum One Contracting, Hyattsville. For leisure he enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and especially playing cards.

He is survived by his daughter, Shannon N. Smith, a grandson Joseph Thomas Suero, 3 brothers, Vernon J. Smith III and wife Georgia, Charles W. Smith and wife Brenda, Jason Smith, 3 sisters, Mary L. Harris and husband Roy, Kay F. Baker and husband Butch, Serena Smith, special nieces and nephews; Rhea, Faith and Michael Harris, Robert Smith, Vernon M .Smith , Vernon J. Smith IV, Dawn M. Shugars and Elizabeth A. O'Brien, and numerous other nieces and nephews.

He will also be missed by his companion Kelli Neel.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry L. Wages, brothers, Herman W. And James E. Aylor and his dog Roxie.

Visitation: Family will receive friends at Stauffer funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, on Sunday, June 14th, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Services: Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. With Rev. Mike Watson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Rhea Harris, Chris Jackson, Michael Harris, Jr, Joe Suero, Vernon Jake Smith IV and Vernon Butch Smith.
Interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
