Mr. Thomas F. Dixon, 62, of Gaithersburg died on Thursday May 21, 2009 at Norfolk General Hospital.
He was the husband of Marcia E. Dixon.
Born on October 30, 1946 in Takoma Park, MD he was the son of the late Monroe H. and Julia Gamble Dixon.
Mr. Dixon was a member of the Local # 26 I. B.E. W. Local for 40 years. He was an electrician and loved his job. He was a veteran and served in the United States Navy during Vietnam.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two children Jennifer R. Sherry and her husband Scott of Wellington, Fl., and Andrew T. Dixon and his wife Nikki of Gaithersburg. Grandchildren Lillian, Abagail, Cameron and Braydon. Sisters Linda Snyder and Lisa Abel and brother James Dixon.
Visitation: Friends may call on Monday May 25, from 3-5pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
Services: Funeral Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday at 1:00pm. The Reverend Frances Stewart will officiate. Interment with Military Honors will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
