Thomas Carl Krisman

Mr. Thomas Carl Krisman, 79, of Frederick passed away on Saturday, October 24 at Kline Hospice House in Mt. Airy. He was the husband of Linnie Lou Dewitt Krisman for 55 years.

Born on April 16, 1930 he was the son of the late Tom and Antonia Krisman.

He served his country from July 23, 1948 to July 9, 1952 in the U.S. Air Force. He worked for James Cafritz Inc. as a project manager and retired in 1990 after 30 years.

He enjoyed playing pool, watching sports on TV and keeping his lawn in tip top shape. He also loved going out to eat and joking around with the regulars always in his cowboy boots.

In addition to his loving wife Linnie, he is survived by his 2 children, Lou Evy and husband Roger of Damascus, and Dale Krisman and wife Cindy of Emporia, Kansas; his 3 grandchildren, Crystal Crigger and husband Dale of Clarksburg, Cindy Eanes of Walkersville and Jordan Krisman of Emporia, Kansas; 2 great grandchildren, Makenzie and Kendra Crigger; 1 sister, Wilma Appenzeller of College Park and his numerous nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by a sister, Lily Smith.


Visitation: The family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Tuesday, October 27, from 2-4 and 7-9 and also one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Services: Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 28 at 11 am with Rev. Leon Dodson and Rev. Wallace Lusk officiating. The family will also recieve friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Charles Wood, Alfred Goad, Bruce Goad, Alvin Pearce, Dorsey Oland and Donald DeWitt.
