Thomas “Bubby” Wiles, Jr , age 74, of Adamstown, MD passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 27, 2023.
Born August 11, 1949, he was the son of the late Thomas M. Wiles Sr. and Annabelle (Lenhart) Wiles
Thomas was born and raised in Poolesville, MD where he graduated from Poolesville High School. He worked on his family’s dairy farm, Spring Valley, before starting a life-long career with Willard Agri Service. Thomas enjoyed trap/skeet shooting, hunting, and spending time with family. He also had a great love of old western movies and bluegrass music.
Thomas is survived by his sister Annabelle “Sissy” Davidson, his son Thomas J. “TJ” Wiles and wife Toni of Hagerstown MD, his daughter Kimberly “Kimmy” Hagelin and husband Joseph “Joe” of Frederick MD, his grandchildren who were the light of his life Thomas J. Wiles Jr, Samantha “Sammy” Hagelin, Kaitlyn “Kaity” Hagelin, Zachary “Zach” Hagelin, Jessi Barker, Korina Reed, and Tyler Reed, 3 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and a nephew. He will also be missed by all his friends and extended family. Thomas was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Wiles. His devoted second wife, Joy Wiles, tragically passed away at his side.
Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday, September 6, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick where funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, September 7. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Thomas’s love, laughter, and sense of humor will forever be missed by all who knew him.
