Thomas Remsburg

Thomas Harry Remsburg, 85, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, January 26, 2015, at Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro.
Born on November 28, 1929, in Keedysville, Maryland, he was the son of the late Harry M. and Olive Virginia (Clopper) Remsburg.
He was 1947 graduate from Boonsboro High School.
Thomas was an employee in the maintenance department for the Town of Boonsboro, as also had worked as a farmer.
He was of the Christian faith.
He is survived by three sisters, Mary R. Ahalt of Shepherdstown, West Virginia, Kathryn R. Barnes of Sarasota, Florida, and Bernice Ann Baker of Falling Waters, West Virginia; and one brother, Harold C. Remsburg, of Hagerstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Alice Virginia Hockenberry; and two brothers, E. Gratton and Russell E. Remsburg.
A graveside funeral ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Fairview Cemetery in Keedysville. Rev. Edward J. Wade will officiate.
