Thomas Berger Morton, Jr., 80, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Somerford Place Assisted Living in Frederick.
Born on May 16, 1934, in Brighton, New York, he was the son of the late Thomas Berger, Sr. and Minnie Mack.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Morton was a retired communications specialist with the Army.
He is survived by his wife, Paule M. Morton; daughters, Marie-France McIntee, Celine Neves, and Bernadette Morton; sister, Shirley Conradt; son-in-laws David McIntee and Jorge Neves; grandchildren Elisabeth and Christopher; and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Elisabeth Morton; sister, Alice Nichols; and brother, James Mack.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at St. James Catholic Church, 121 North Main Street in Boonsboro Maryland. Rev. John J. Jicha will officiate. Final resting place ceremonies with military honors rendered by the Clopper-Michael American Legion Post 10 of Boonsboro will follow at Brownsville Heights Cemetery in Brownsville, Maryland.
