Thomas Henderson

Thomas C. Henderson , 84, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Northampton Manor Health Care Center surrounded by his family.

Born on November 16, 1933, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the lateThomas S. Henderson and Bertha J. (Radziszewski) Henderson.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Judy Combs.

Tom was very involved in his community. Serving as past president of many organizations including, Riviera Beach Elementary PTA, Stoney Creek Fishing and Hunting Club, Stoney Creek Democratic Club and the Spring Ridge Homeowners Association.

Family was most important to him. Tom loved the water and enjoyed the memories made raising his children on the Chesapeake Bay. Summers were spent on Nags Head beaches where he enjoyed fishing and treasure hunting.  He also enjoyed the pool parties at his sisters and barbeques and camping at Chincoteague with his extended family.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elizabeth Vera Henderson; daughters, Vicky Henderson and Lisa Aughenbaugh Henderson; son in law, Mark Combs; sister, Midge Knell; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court Glen Allen, VA 23060.

A Memorial Service will be held in Ijamsville, MD.  Please contact the family for further information.
