Thomas Driscoll

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden loss of Thomas Francis Driscoll, 65, of Mt. Airy, MD.  Tom was the beloved husband of Kathy and cherished father of Dylan.  Born on June 30, 1952, he was the son of the late Francis William and Cecile (St. Martin) Driscoll.

Tom graduated from Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and was employed at LJT & Associates, Inc., in Columbia, MD.  He will be remembered for his dedication to family, his kindness and wonderful sense of humor, as well as his love of sports, books and his yellow lab, Brady.

In addition to his wife and son, he is survived by sister Mary-Ellen Thurm, brother Bruce Driscoll (Maryjane), sister Judy Beise (Andy), nieces Jennifer Thurm, Casey Driscoll, Lindsay Beise, Brenna Driscoll and Austin Forst, nephews Michael Thurm, Jeffrey Thurm, Ethan Beise and Nicholas Forst as well as mother-in-law Margaret Forst.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 17 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Stauffer Funeral Home, P.A., 8 East Ridgeville Boulevard, Mt. Airy.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 18 at 11:00 AM at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, 4103 Prices Distillery Road, Ijamsville, Father Michael Jendrek officiating.
