Thomas Albaugh

Mr. Thomas C. Albaugh, 81, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the Kline Hospice House. He was the husband of the late June A. Etzler Albaugh.
Born November 25, 1929 in Frederick, MD., he was the son of the late Guy M. and Grace Humm Albaugh.
Prior to his retirement from Safeway, Mr. Albaugh was employed at A&P, Peoples Life, and I.G.A. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #684.
He enjoyed going to the beach, cruises and was known for restoring antique trunks.
He is survived by his daughter Lynn Stevenson and husband Eddie of Saint Thomas, PA, four grandchildren Kevin Stevenson, Kristen Bogley and husband J.J., Kelli Stevenson and fiancé William Morgan and Kimberly Green and husband David, seven great grandchildren Kevin, Brittany, Ashleigh, Brandon, Caleb, Tyler and Katelynn, a sister Kathleen Burrier of Walkersville, his special friend Carol Kaplan and his life long friend Howard “Dick”Lochner. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by two sisters Eloise Reeser and Margaret Smith.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD., Tuesday, July 12, from 6 – 9:00 pm, where services will be held Wednesday, July 13, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Robert Rock officiating.
Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
