Thelma {Peg} Kendall Eyler

Mrs. Thelma Peg Kendall Eyler, 89 of Thurmont, MD., died Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Gettysburg Hospital. She was the wife of Ralph Elmer Eyler.
Born October 6, 1920 in Smithsburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Lester J. And Mertle E. Toms Kendall.
Mrs. Eyler retired after many years from the Newcomer Organ Company as an organ builder and repair person. She enjoyed working search word puzzles, flowers, going to the Summitt Plaza Restaurant with her husband and spending time with her faithful companion, her dog Pee Wee. Mrs. Eyler was a member of the Weller United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her close friends and caretakers Jane Shorb, Carolyn and Donald Eyler, one niece and one nephew. She is the last of her immediate family.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont on Sunday, November 15, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m., Interment Blue Ridge Cemetery
Services:
Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 16, at 1:00 p.m. With Rev. Richard Broome officiating.
