Terry Lee Sines, Jr.

Terry Lee Sines, Jr., 62, of Clear Spring, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, December 26, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Kelli Sines 

 Born on February 15, 1962, in Hagerstown MD he was the son of the late Terry Lee and Edna (Miller) Sines. 

  Terry Sines was what you would call an everyday sort of hero. He was a nice man, always willing to engage in a conversation with a stranger, always eager to give half his money to the homeless, and always willing to stop and help any person or any animal that was in need. 

 Terry spent much of his career blacktop paving. From showing up the younger guys with a shovel, to paving it at perfect slope for the water to shed off, to running his own company, Terry would tell you “I’m telling you I was the best”, and as he was always so convincing it’s hard not to believe him. 

 Some knew him as “Zeus” or “Husband”, “Dad”, “Pappy”, “Brother”, or simply “Terry”, but whatever you called him he left an impression forever in our hearts of fart noises and laughter and kindness and love. No matter what Terry always kept on Trucking, as he would say to his family that he loved very much, “You’re tougher than Woodpecker lips”. 

 In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Kelly Davis and husband Tim, Kerri Fotta and husband Michael, Christopher Rowland, Kelsi Beard and husband Dalton, Kacee Stouffer and husband Dylan, Tanner Sines and girlfriend Mya Wolfe; his grandchildren Tatum (Tater Bug”), Poppy (“Sweetie”), Jack (“Jack Jack”), Kylee, Tyler, Kierslyn, Michael Kade, Kennadi, Kamilyn, Great grandchildren, Delaney and Scarlett 

 The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland.

Funeral services and interment will be private.
