Terry “Scott” Flannery, 49 of Frederick, Maryland passed away on January 8, 2015 in Orlando, Florida where he suffered a massive stroke.
He was born May 24, 1965 in Waynesboro, PA.
Scott was a 1984 graduate of Mount Saint Joseph High School where he was a champion wrestler and played football.
He worked for CTS Services as a Critical Facilities Technician.
Scott enjoyed traveling, his horses, boating and spending time at his places on the river and in Florida.
He is survived by his fiancé, Tammy Wood of Frederick, father and stepmom, Terry and Sally Flannery of New Market, mother and step father, Donna and Joseph Shearer of Hanover, PA, his son, Dylan Scott Flannery of Frederick, a brother, Joseph “Brian” Flannery and two stepbrothers, Travis and Benjamin Shearer.
He will also be remembered by his beloved dog Scrappy, his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of Scott’s life will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Saturday, January 24th at 11:00AM with Deacon Debbie Williams officiating. The family will be present to receive friends from 10:00-11:00AM.
