Terry M. Cross, Jr.

Terry M. Cross, Jr. 83, of Frederick, Maryland passed from this life Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD. 

Born July 28, 1941 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Terry M. Cross Sr. and Jane (Howard) Cross. He was husband of the late Edith Cross, his wife of 55 years.

After graduating from Bladensburg High School in 1959, he served in the United States Navy. He completed a long career as a cable splicer, then electrical inspector for the Potomac Electric and Power Company. He served as President of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 1900. Terry graduated from the University of Maryland Law School in his fifties and was a member of the Maryland Bar Association. 

Terry was a lifelong fan of DC area sports teams: Redskins/Commanders, Nationals and Maryland Terrapins. He enjoyed horse racing and casinos. Mostly, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially during many vacations to Ocean City, MD.

He is survived by sons Scott Cross, Donald Cross and his wife Natalie, Steven Cross and his wife Traci; grandchildren, Kenisha Bishop-Cross, Amanda Meyers, Gracie Cross, Ana Cross; and great grandchildren, Michael Meyers, Garret Meyers and Sadie Seabolt. He is predeceased by sisters Beverly Cross, and Rosemary (Cross) Baker. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 4 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 5 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
