Terri Moore Kieffer, age 55, of Emmitsburg, MD, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2018, at York Hospital in York, PA, after suffering a brain aneurysm. She was born May 26, 1962, in Utica, NY, and grew up in Saratoga Springs, NY. She was the daughter of the late Beverly and John Moore.
Terri worked for Montgomery County Public Schools for over 27 years. Through her business, Key4Prints, Terri pursued her passion for photography and dogs and was a staple at East Coast dog conformation and performance events. She was well-known for her beautiful candids and her terrific eye for action shots. Terri strived to capture the perfect shot of the joy shared between dogs and their owners and leaves behind thousands of treasured images. Terri never met a stranger and will be remembered for her smiling face, good humor and the support she gave to exhibitors, photographers, and her cherished friends and family.
Terri is survived by her three children; Adam Kieffer (Sara) of Thurmont, MD, Benjamin Kieffer (Alexandra) of Thurmont, MD, and Laura Kieffer of Carmel, NY; three grandchildren, Jacob, Kayla and Elizabeth Kieffer; two brothers, John E. Moore, Jr., "Ed" of Saratoga Springs, NY and Michael Stubbings of Schaghticoke, NY; and a sister, Dawnie Stubbings-Dawson of Mechanicville, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Pamela Stubbings.
A memorial gathering in celebration of Terri’s life will be held Friday, February 2, 2018 between 4 and 8 p.m. with services commencing at 7 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Thurmont, MD.
