Terri Johnikin
July 9, 1982 — October 3, 2018
Terri Lynn Johnikin, 36, of Falling Waters, WV, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, after an extended illness. Born on July 9, 1982, in Rockville, Maryland, she was the daughter of Broadus G. Johnikin and Barbara Ann (Trent) Boone.
She attended Brunswick High School and received her CNA/GNA in 1997. Terri worked at Beverly Health Care from 2000 until 2007. She then moved to Tennessee for a short time, and then resided in Beckley, WV, and most recently, Terri moved to Falling Waters to be closer to her family.
Terri loved her dog named Baby Girl, and was an animal lover in general. She loved helping people and was always willing to help those less fortunate than she was. She enjoyed doing yard work, gardening and anything outdoors.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by step-mother, Vivian Johnikin; brothers: Peter Gene "Buddy" Johnikin and his wife Serena, Ronald H. Johnikin and Robert A. Teeter and fiance Robin and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 8 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 9 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the funeral home. Pastor Jack Payne will officiate. Interment will be in Jefferson Reformed Cemetery.
