Tara Orrison
February 6, 1981 — October 27, 2015
Tara Elizabeth Kanode Orrison, 34, of Frederick, MD, passed away, with her family surrounding her, Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital following a long battle with lung cancer. She was the wife of Keith M. Orrison.
Born February 6, 1981 in Frederick, she was the daughter of loving parents, Herbert R. and Bernice “Bonnie” L. Stup Kanode.
Tara was the 1st graduating class of Urbana High School Class of 1999. She was employed by MAMSI and Wells Fargo and was a licensed daycare provider. For the past seven years, because of her husband providing for their family, she was proud to be a stay-at-home mom.
In addition to her husband of seven years and her parents, Tara is survived by her children, Bradley J. Capino, Corrine E. Capino, Summer L. Orrison and Trevor K. Orrison, all at home; sister, Tiffany S. Kanode of Frederick; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Herman M. “Buzz” and Brenda J. Orrison of Bolivia, NC; brother-in-law, Brian E. and wife, Jordan, Orrison of Kent Island, MD; labs, Skipper and Zoey; and is the guardian angel to her children and soon-to-be born niece or nephew.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Mary E. and Robert S. Stup.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2015 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
A celebration of life will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, October 31st at the funeral home with Pastor Debra Linton officiating.
