Tanya Gordon

Tanya Lee Gordon 82, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 in the loving arms of her husband, Donald Gordon.
Born in Berlin, MD December 12, 1935 to Clifford James Davis and Anna Frances (Brittingham) Davis she was the last survivor of her immediate family.
Tanya spent her early years in Frederick, then lived in Damascus. While in her teens, she and her mother were involved with Air Defense Command as Plane Spotters. Tanya graduated from Damascus High School in 1954, then married the love of her life, Donald, her husband of 60 years. They built their home in Lisbon, MD.
Tanya worked for America-Encyclopedia in Bethesda, MD for five years and then to Bethol-Corp. in Gaithersburg for ten years. In her spare time she enjoyed putting puzzles together, crocheting, dinning out and day trips with Donald.
She is survived by her loving husband Donald and their two children Carol Kelly and husband Mike, Donald Gordon, Jr. and three grandchildren, Shawn and wife Rosa Kelly, Jennifer and Shannon Kelly.
She was preceded in death a year ago by her brother Clifford, Jr.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy, MD, Friday, March 16, 2018 from 1-2PM where a funeral service will begin at 2PM. Pastor James Hoke Rosensteel will officiate.
Interment will follow at Poplar Springs Cemetery.
