Ms. Sylvia Loraine Diggs
Ms. Sylvia Loraine Diggs, 66, “Tweetle”, of 7822-A Fingerboard Road, Frederick, MD passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, September 3, 2013.
Ms. Diggs was born on October 2, 1946 in Frederick, MD. She was the daughter of the late Bernard M. Diggs Sr. and the late Alverta M. Luby Diggs. Ms. Diggs was preceded in death by her brother, Bernard M. Diggs Jr.
Ms. Diggs was a Frederick High School graduate, class of 1964 and was recently retired.
Ms. Diggs was the mother of three children, April L. Wright(Waymon Wright son-in-law), Cheryl D. Diggs, and David W. Diggs; all of Frederick.
Surviving in addition to her children are two brothers, Gregory D. Diggs and Harvey E. Diggs, both of Frederick; a sister, Gail D. Diggs of Gaitherburg; four grandchildren, Christopher L. Wright, Nicholas S. Wright, Brittany L. Wright, and Nashiah L. Diggs; as well as nieces nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at the Hopehill United Methodist Chruch, 7647 Fingerboard Road Frederick, MD on October 5, 2013. Family will receive friends before the service from 10 am to 11 am.
