Sydney Nicole Starkey, 7, of Thurmont died on Thursday October 23, 2008 at the Dove House Hopice, Westminister.
Born in Frederick on March 9, 2001 she was the daughter of Paul Garrison and Rebecca Trout Starkey.
Sydney was a student at the Rock Creek School, Frederick.
Surviving in addition to her parents are paternal great grandmother Audrey Young of Walkersville, maternal grandparents Dean and Lois Trout of Keymar and paternal grandparents Wayne and Brenda Starkey of Walkersville. Two sisters Samantha Grace and Sarah Ann Starkey both of Thurmont. Two aunts Colleen Crowell and husband Scott of Frederick and Jennifer Martin and husband Cory of Waynesboro, PA. Cousins Hannah and Brooke Nelson. Also survived by numerous great aunts and uncles and will be remembered by her classmates, teachers and staff at Rock Creek School, Frederick.
Visitation: Friends may call on Sunday October 26, from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1521 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
Services: Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on October 27, at 11:00am. Pastor Keith Trimble will officiate. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
