Susan Carlsson

Susan Carol (Fling) Carlsson, 60, formerly of Waynesboro, VA, passed away January 22, 2018, at Saint Joseph’s Ministries in Emmitsburg, MD. She was the wife of Tom Carlsson.
Born on January 16, 1958 in Rockville, MD, she was the daughter of Doloris Fling and the late Irving Fling.
In addition to her husband and mother, Susan is survived by her two children, Matthew and Mackenzie Carlsson; brother, Roger Fling and wife Debbie; sister, Brenda Hedges; sister, Terry Cook and husband Ray; sister, Gail Minovich; and brother, Danny Fling. She is also survived by nieces, Tammy Hilfiger, Tracey Kalon, Ashley Southerly, Cassie Winn, and Danielle Fling; and nephews, Randy Fling, Blake Hedges, Dalton Minovich, Cole Minovich and Justin Fling.
A celebration of life will be held from 1-4pm on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Frederick Church of Christ, 1305 N. Market Street, Frederick, MD 21701.
