Susan Aud

Susan D. Aud , 75, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Kline Hospice in Mount Airy, MD.  She battled a neurological disorder (Cervical Dystonia) for years.

Born on December 20, 1945, in Fitchburg, MA, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert A. Potter and Minnie (Walker) Potter.

Sue was the loving wife of Dudley Giles Aud, her husband of 48 years.

Sue spent many years in the electronic distribution business at both Cramer and MS Electronics.  All who knew and worked with Sue knew she was dependable, knowledgeable and competent.  Her steady personality and her great attitude made her a valued team member.  She was a friend to all- we will miss her.  She also loved shopping, gardening, enjoyed birds and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband Dudley Giles Aud she is survived by her children, William Aud and wife, Susan, Stephen Aud and wife, Patricia and Suzanne Harrell.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cameron, Mallory and Luke Aud.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville in Mt. Airy, MD. 21771.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at St. Peter's Catholic Church,  in Libertytown, MD.  Msgr. John Dietzenbach will officiate.  Interment will be at Monocacy Cemetery in  Beallsville, MD.
