Stewart M. Millberry, 81, of Frederick, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.

Born on September 15, 1937, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Lawrence E. and Margaret Mae (Layer) Millberry.

Mr. Millberry graduated from Lincoln High School. He served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1964. Mr. Millberry moved from Frederick to Virginia while working at the Dulles Airport and Fairfax County School, from which he retired.

He enjoyed bowling and fishing in his spare time. He was a beloved grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and, most of all, father.

Mr. Millberry leaves to mourn, daughter, Martina Willis and husband, Corey; grandchildren, Darnell and Corrine of Haymarket, VA; and sister, Rayn Roberts and husband, Charles, of Leesburg, VA. He has resided in Frederick with his nephew, Donald "Duff" Duffin and his wife, Rose, and their grandson, Darren.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Madeline Leekins, Edna Duffin, Margaret Weedon and Inez Mallory; and his brothers,  Lawrence, John and Hart Millberry.

What he loved the most was his family and nothing he appreciated more then the love he felt from all of his brothers and sisters and his nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Stewart's life journey will take place at 12 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019, at Buckeystown United Methodist Church, (Rt. 80), 6923 Michael Mills Road in Buckeystown.  Rev. Charles H. Roberts will officiate.  Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Frederick. Repast with the family following graveside services will be held at the Sunnyside United Methodist Church in Jefferson, Maryland.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.
