Steven Frank Repas

Mr. Steven Frank Repas, age 82, of Trinity, Al, formerly of Mt. Airy. died on Sunday, September 2, 2007, at NHC Healthcare, Moulton, AL. He was the husband of the late Mae Gray Repas.

Born November 6, 1924, in Evanston, IL he was the son of the late Frank Repas and Mary Simon Repas. He was retired from Goddard Space Flight Center. He was a long-time member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks, originally in Frederick, Maryland, and most recently in Decatur, AL.

He is survived by his son, Steven Melvin Repas and wife, Karen, of Trinity, AL; sister, Helen Martin of Windsor Heights, WV; two grandsons, Anthony J. Kaufman and fiance, Karen, of Lake Mary, FL, and Terry W. Kaufman and wife, Tina, of Mobile, AL; five great-grandchildren, Ashley, Nicholas, Holly, Garrett, and Sawyer; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Repas was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Repas; and one sister, Margaret Konyha.

Visitation: The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM on Saturday, September 8 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy where a memorial service for Steve will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Robert Kanagy officiating.

Services: A private family burial will be Sunday, September 9, 2007, beside his beloved wife Mae, in Pine Grove Cemetery in Mt Airy, MD.
