Steven Pearsall

Steven Todd Pearsall, 57, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life of natural causes on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 - at his home in Frederick, Maryland

Born on March 27, 1967, in Honolulu, Hawaii, he was the son of Robert Sherman Pearsall Jr. and Beverly (Hageman) Pearsall.

He graduated from Frederick High School 1985. He was known by his class as the "The Art Guy."

He attended MICA - Maryland Institute College of Art on Scholarship for Art while he was still in high school.

He went to FCC for a while and then studied interior design at Catonsville Community College

He and his first wife started their own company at the age of 21 - Dimensions - it was a Design/Build Firm that was in business for 17 years. The company won several design awards.

He was a Senior Project Manager for Grunley for several years. Later, he was VP for Cooper Construction Services and, most recently, was the operations manager for Construction Services Intergrated, LLC.

He mentored and guided several people in their careers who attribute a lot of their success to him.

He was an extremely talented artist and architectural illustrator and was inspired by all styles of art such as the work of Frank Lloyd Wright (Architect), Van Gogh, Mc Escher, and Salvador Dali, to name a few.

He was an avid comic book collector and an enthusiast of sci-fi and horror movies and also enjoyed music by the Doors, David Bowie, the Ramones, and many other rock groups.

He was a member of the Boy Scouts for most of his younger years, enjoying camping and community service.

Steven was an active member of the 4-H club, where he enjoyed raising and participating in show competitions of his sheep and rabbits. He also loved keeping and riding horses.

He is survived by his mother, Beverly Pearsall, older brother Robert Sherman Pearsall 3rd, and his son Logan Pearsall. He is also survived by

his niece Leila Pearsall along with an uncle several aunts and cousins. 

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 104 East Main Street in Thurmont, Maryland.

Steven loved animals very much, especially cats.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider making a donation to local animal rescues in the amount of your choosing in Steven's name.
