Steven Heffner

Steven Angelo Heffner, 70, of Waynesboro, PA, died Saturday, May 5, 2018 at his home. He was the husband of Kay Heffner.
Born January 15, 1948 in Frederick, MD, he was the son of Charlotte Beall of Frederick, and the late Angelo Heffner.
Steve was a graduate of Frederick High School. He worked for many years as a superintendent in the construction business. He enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and was a longtime fan of the Baltimore Orioles.
In addition to wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Leann Gray of Temple, GA, and Janna Diane Heffner of Waynesboro; one son, Phillip D. Heffner and wife, Sandra, of Middletown, MD; six grandchildren, Savannah Wasko and companion, Derek, of Waynesboro, Madison Wasko of Waynesboro, Phillip Michael Heffner of Middletown, Nicole Heffner and Dan May of Myersville, Jarred Gray and Jen of Shepherdstown, WV, and Jessica Gray of New Windsor; four great-grandchildren, Landon, Morgan, Olivia, and Christian; a sister, Ruth Ann Bowersox of Frederick; two brothers, Alvin Beall of Texas, and Greg Heffner of Frederick; and loving friends, Janice and Heinz Conrad of Temple, Ga.
Steve was predeceased by his father; a son, Michael Haines; and infant daughters, Suzanne and Sarah Heffner.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, where services will begin at 11 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Tim May.
Interment will follow in Glade Cemetery.
