Steven W. Bishop, 53 of Knoxville, Maryland passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his wife Dawn Linton.
Born March 10, 1961 in Bethesda, Maryland he is the son of Elsie Beall Bishop of Knoxville, MD and the late Clarence Bishop.
Steven loved riding his motorcycle. He was a NASCAR and Toney Stewart fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
He was an avid gun collector and was a licensed gunsmith. He was a member of the Eagles, the Moose Lodge and the American Legion all in Brunswick.
He loved taking walks outside with his dog Danielle and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife Dawn and mother Elsie he is survived by his three sons, John Earp and fiancé Miranda, Matthew Bishop and Timothy Bishop and wife Kristen, five grandchildren, Kyle, Brianna, Hayli, Wyatt and Connor, three sisters, Elizabeth Wolford, Brenda Perry and Joyce Thomas, two brothers, David Bishop and Kenneth Bishop.
He will also be remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick on Friday, September 26th from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, September 27th at 2:00PM.
Interment will be private.
