Stephen Devane Moran

Mr. Stephen Devane Moran, 58, of Frederick, MD, died on Friday, September 11, 2009.
Born on August 6, 1951, in Takoma Park, MD, he was the son of Osborn Devane Moran of Berea, KY, formerly of Jefferson, MD, and Eleanore Susan Montgomery Moran of Frederick, MD.
Stephen was vice president of a computer firm in Crofton, MD, a free lance web developer, and a technical consultant to a mineral exploration firm in South East Asia.
He was also a musician, playing drums in numerous bands in Washington, DC., an MG car enthusiast, and enjoyed hiking, hang gliding and white water rafting in his youth. He was a graduate of Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, MD.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Michael W. Moran and wife Kathy (Herford) Moran of New Market, MD.; a sister, Aletha Kay (Moran) Clark and husband Jeffrey Clark of Salisbury, MD; a nephew, David Clark of New York City; and a niece, Cory Clark of Baltimore MD.
Mr. Moran was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Lynn Moran of Rockville, MD.
Services: Services and interment will be private.
