Stephen Michael Moungelis, 63 of Chincoteague Island, passed from this life on December 23, 2021.
Born on May 23, 1958 at Bethesda Naval Hospital, he was the son of the late Stavros S. and Katherine Margelis Moungelis.
He attended Thomas S. Wootton High School in Rockville, MD, graduating with the class of 1976.
His hobbies included cooking, fishing, hunting, fixing everything in sight, and finding "Bigfoot", but his favorite was spending time on Chincoteague Island, Virginia, where he made his home.
Surviving are his daughter, Katherine Moungelis Thomas and husband Jack; his grandson, Milo Zephyr Thomas; a sister, Maria Moungelis Bedard and husband Richard; as well as two nieces: Eleni Bedard and Antonia Bedard, and a nephew Michel Bedard
